The company

The company, which takes its name from its owner Antonio Sanfelice di Monteforte, an agricultural entrepreneur, was founded with the intention of safeguarding ancient family traditions, with extreme care in the quality of the products and services offered, and with the utmost respect for nature.

The activities included range from agricultural to hospitality, breeding and production of sport horses, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, in the town of Ansedonia.

On top of its promontory the Romans in 273 BC. they founded the city of Cosa, an important military strategic center for the control of the territories, of the Carthaginian threat from the sea but also a fervent maritime and land commercial hub.

Including its imposing walls, among its remains today we find centuries-old olive trees from which an oil with marked organoleptic properties is obtained, and the land for cultivation and breeding starts from its gates, Porta Romana and Porta Fiorentina.

Here, in 2007, Giorgio Sanfelice di Monteforte began work on the construction of the Tenuta di Cosa, a 2700 cubic meter business center that his son Antonio has now converted into a farmhouse with swimming pool and garden.

You can stay there surrounded by 100 hectares of unspoiled nature, three hundred meters from the sea, between the beaches of Feniglia and Tagliata (formerly an ancient Roman port).

The villa with its large halls also lends itself very well to hosting important events such as wedding exhibitions and photo shoots.

From the love for horses and the passion for horse riding comes the desire to breed sport horses for the discipline of show jumping, using crossings with the best European genealogical lines. The first products have already distinguished themselves in major national and international competitions.

The company has embarked on the process for organic certification.
