The company, which takes its name from its owner Antonio Sanfelice di Monteforte, an agricultural entrepreneur, was founded with the intention of safeguarding ancient family traditions, with extreme care in the quality of the products and services offered, and with the utmost respect for nature.
The activities included range from agricultural to hospitality, breeding and production of sport horses, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, in the town of Ansedonia.
Originally, at the behest of Giorgio Sanfelice di Monteforte, a business center was built in 2007 to house the farmer on the upper floor and warehouses with offices to take care of oil production on the ground floor. Hence the name that was used in the family of “Il Frantoio”.
The farm has been producing excellent quality extra virgin olive oil for decades. This is due to the blend of olives harvested from different varieties of olive trees such as Leccino, Moraiolo and Frantoio, just to name a few.
For some years we have specialized in the production of hay for both equidae and bovidae. From a mixture of seeds of Trifoglio Capo Rosso and Ojetto, in fact, a quality product was born, suitable for foraging horses that must carry out competitive activities.
From the great passion for these wonderful animals, the breeding and training activity of sport horses for the Olympic disciplines was born.
